Hell in Heaven

As these words fall out from her lips,
blood drips down from her fingertips.
And as she silently murmured the words of love,
bright light spilled from the sky above.

She slowly awakes with tears in her eyes,
for she knows what she did was not wise.
And as she looked around, she already knew,
that her life on earth is done and through.

The sight was overwhelming, full of beauty.
In her dreams this is what she wanted dearly.
And for once, she began to smile true.
Then against her will, her heart started to argue.

Lost in her own thoughts, time seemed to stop,
so she sat down in silence as rain began to drop.
Crying, she wondered why she felt this way,
when heaven was supposed to take the pain away.

She refused to believe he cared about her death,
or that he felt her last, desperate breath.
For she waited for him eventhough they were apart,
when he didn't want her back right from the start

As she turned, something caught her eye,
an image from earth, as she was saying goodbye.
The man she has waited for was writing a note,
And on the flowing white paper, this is what he wrote:

"I was wrong to let you go, my love.
I knew you were my angel sent from above.
But I was blind and so was my heart,
I ask for a chance to prove that we'll never be apart."

As his fingertips brushed gently on the creases of the paper,
She heard the words she waited for, so sweet and tender:
"I love you, this I swear to God."
as she breathed her last, in an ocean of blood.

As everything faded, his words echoed in her ear,
the note still imprinted in her mind so clear.
And though she was numb, she began to cry,
asking herself why she decided to die.

"Why?", she asked the nothingness of her paradise.
And tears flowed again as an echo began to rise.
"If I haven't given up on what I truly feel,
then every piece of my dreams would truly be real."

The time, the pain and the tears, she can endure,
while waiting patiently for that one special cure.
For trying to find an escape for her pain was useless;
He was the only one to save her from her restlessness.

The heaven that she thought could save her from the pain,
has turned into hell with suffering in reign.
And as much as she wanted to flee away from this,
she knew in this place, she'll someday find her peace.

In the name of God, impure souls of the living dead
shall be banished into eternal damnation. Amen!
There is no heaven without the one you love.
This is very moving. :)

As you journey through life take a minute every now and then to give a thought for the other fellow. He could be plotting something.
